Jobcentre Plus staff from Barking and Dagenham, organised collections around the 2005 International Day of Disabled Persons event.
John Costello from Barking Jobcentre Plus (on right of photo) handed a cheque for £240 to Barking and Dagenham Access Group member Steve Wright.
The cash will be used to help the Barking and Dagenham Access Group charity continue its work to make the borough more accessible to disabled people.
